Aurora offers luxury writing products such as Fountain Pen, Rollerball Pen , Ballpoint and Mechanical Pencil to facilitate the joy of writing!

In 1919, in a Turin marked by the first World War but with great hopes for recovery, Aurora (the dawn), the first Italian fountain pen company, was born. A name which gave a message of hope and rebirth: the new dawn in Italian history and culture. It is the beginning of a unique style passed on from generation to generation; yesterday as today it skillfully combines fine craftsmanship, techniques and precious materials. From its rich cultural heritage and its long tradition, little masterpieces are created and appreciated all over the world, making it a solid example of the most refined Made in Italy.

Born in 1919 in Turin Aurora is today a leading company in the production and marketing of writing instruments, fine leather goods, watches and paper.
The passion for beauty, style and the extraordinary quality of the individual details, the company’s founding values, combined with continuous research, make it a true ambassador of Made in Italy excellence in the world.

Led by the Verona family, involved in the writing world for four generations, Aurora remains today the only truly Italian brand in its sector, with a single factory in Turin.
Since its foundation, the company has guided the evolution of writing instruments, creating exclusive objects in perfect balance between craftsmanship and innovation. High-tech production phases are combined with typical goldsmithing processes in which the use of materials and precious metals transforms each pen into a real jewel.

Recognized and appreciated internationally, the Aurora brand is synonymous in the world of excellence Made in Italy.
Exports contribute 68% of turnover and are destined to grow, thanks to a solid presence in over 50 countries and the opening of single-brand stores and customized corners in Europe, America, Asia and the United Arab Emirates.
The current lean and flexible corporate structure guarantees the maximum rapidity of reaction to the evolutions of the market and to the requests of an increasingly diversified and demanding clientele.

Through the constant search for cutting-edge stylistic solutions and the collaboration of internationally renowned designers, Aurora has written some of the most important pages in the history of design.
Just to name a few: in 1947 Marcello Nizzoli created the famous model “88”, a classic writing that has sold over 7 million pieces and is still in production;
in 1970 Marco Zanuso designed HASTIL and THESI, the first writing instruments to be exhibited at the MOMA in New York, still on display alongside the masterpieces of Italian design.

The pen, from a simple writing instrument, is characterized today as an elegant and refined accessory, an unmistakable sign of its own personality, expression of a daily pleasure.
Aurora is the only company in Italy and one of the few in the world to produce the nib, the true heart of the pen, thus offering customers the possibility of choosing their writing style in a fine tailoring perspective, as well as creating for the collectors from all over the world prestigious editions in limited and numbered series.

Stimulate respect..

It takes two years to create a new Aurora writing instrument. In each model the craftsman tradition and the most advanced working technologies are combined with a knowledgeable and creative research to make unique timeless objects. For instance, each fountain pen with piston filling system has a hidden reservoir, which permits to write even if the ink has apparently run out. One of the Aurora innovations which, during company’s history, has added value and unmistakable appeal to the use of Aurora pens.
